Joe-- We have been having a lot of trouble on our '99 frames. Gillig worked with us in the frame-repair process. They issued us fram repair kits (at no charge,) to patch them up. These repairs started lsst year--we covered the labor and they covered the parts. However, at the time, the buses were still considered under warranty. I have the kit number if you'd like--it might take me a day or two to dig it up. |

Gary, we use REI Bus Watch, our Safty Officer pulls the hard drives when drivers report an incident or when operations/safety suspects an incident. Maintenance only gets involved when one isn't working, the system beeps constantly when it is not working. We don't have a written policy in maintenance for this. |

At BCTA we use Drive Cam. They get downloaded nightly and reviewed the next day. If there is an issue the electronics tech makes the repair or adjustment. |

Gary, RVT has both Safety Vision & GE security cameras. When our buses are in for PM RVT makes sure the systems are operating. We have a spot on the PM sheet for the supervisor who performed the check to sign & date. Denny |

We have several buses with cameras. Usually the only time we remove the hard-drive is if there is an incident and our Safety & Security Director needs to reveiw the film. Other than that, we do not follow a specific procedure as far as maintenance is concerned -- the S&S director does pull the hd's periodically to make sure that cameras are working however. |

Hi Gary. We have the safety vision cameras on all our buses. We do not have a written policy but we do have a schedule that is followed for a maintenance check. Whenever a bus is in for is 5000 mile pm maintenance pulls the hard drive. These hard drives are reviewed by my Safety and Training Supervisor. He has a log that he keeps defining any problems. |

Hope everyone is doing fine. Question- Who has cameras on their buses? Do you have a written maintenance policy and procedure e.g.(removal of harddrive, check picture) and do you follow the procedure.Information gathering. Thanks |
