Shane, If you are using a scanner to remove parts out of inventory, this is how it is suppose to work. 1. The information gets uploaded from the scanner into your system via "Fast Track". Prior to updating, print out the edit sheet that shows the activities including part number and work order number. After that the data gets updated. 2. The edit sheet is used to see what work orders need to be updated. When the work order is updated, it is at that moment that FleetNet will adjust the inventory amount. If you are following this procedure to the "t" everything should work properly. If not, check to make sure that the parts in question are set up properly in the system. Also, in "Work Order" you can update all work orders, this would cover everything. If you would like further discussion, call me @ 717-233-5657 Ex. 120. Hope this helps- Mark Mitchell |

For those of you who use FleetNet: do you have any inventory issues as far as receiving and dispersing inventory items on WOs? It seems as though on several items, FN does not remove them from the inventory even though they have been assigned to that WO. Basically, when we do a physical inventory, we find out that there are 5 of an item on the shelf and the computer says we have 1. Any ideas? |
