Sorry I am late to respond (Board meeting this morning) We use Manager Plus. User friendly, work orders, purchase orders, inventory, will track fuel, oil, mileage, parts, labor reports, tool tracking if needed; easy to get reports per group/bus, easy to add any house equipment for PM's on different times (by miles, months, hours, whatever you use to track with) like lifts, compressors, service vehicles, fork lift etc. check it out on www.qqest.com. They just came out with and a Manager Plus Pro version, haven't checked it out yet. My only complaint is with our version it only tracks one oil, and we would like to have 3 different oils (2 motors, tranny fluid, etc)call if you need more info 944-4074 or garywilliams@amtran.org |

Mark, We have TransitFleet software for our maintenance system. It is a windows based program that is set up specific for transit fleets. It controls maintenance, inventory, fueling, and all indicies of the Maintenance Department. It is very user friendly because it was created just for transit fleets. This system does not have other applications for heavy duty vehicles that are not transit that you have to go through. TransitFleet has the capability to adapt to several brand name electronic fueling systems. The reports that can be generated help you to monitor cost, fuel, productivity, inventory, for all of the vehicles that are maintanied at your facility. The concern follow-up response is the best that I have experienced with any software representative. Most all concerns are resolved the same day, usually within 1 hour after contact is made. Normal return response is within minutes if Howard's voice mail is reached. The contact person is Howard Ostroff. His phone # is 781-801-9696. E-MAIL is hostroff@rcn.com. If you have any unanswered questions, Howard will be in Hershey this year. I may sound biased but, I enjoy using Windows based programs to sort the information that I'm looking for easily. Contact me here at BARTA if you have any questions or would like to see the system live. Cell 610-780-9596 Regards, Dan |

Mark, Red Rose uses Trapeze Fleet. It is a very user friendly system that incorporates bar coding for parts and is tied into our fueling system. The only thing it doesn't have is purchase order capability. It is not a bad system and didn't cost a fortune. I hope that is of some help to you. Steve |

Mark, CamTran in Johnstown has FleetNET. Yes it is tied to fuel, but it is not user friendly. It is very hard to retrieve old information. I would not recommend it. Our system in Ebensburg is Fleet Computing International. It is alot more user friendly and you could tie in fuel. There should be software vendors at the PPTA show in April. You may be able to find something there also. Dave Edwards CamTran |
