Mark, we use a fuel management program from Trak Engineering. It tracks fuel and oil usage, tank inventories, mileages, and PM's due. We only use it for fuel, oil, and mileages. I than import that data into our Fleet maintenance program. It is a simple stand alone unit tied into the fuel dispenser. The one thing I don't like about it is that it uses fiber optics to communicate with the fuel and oil dispensers. That has caused us problems at first. It can also be connected to a Veeder-Root system via a serial cable for tank monitoring. |

Mark, we track some of the fluids/bus with our maintenance program. It doesn't give me enough fields for all the different oils that we use, but still works ok.Manager Plus is up grading this system and is using some of my input to better their program. With that said, we like the program. We just installed a new fuel monitoring system for the fuel tank (20,000 gal)w/ Veeder Root TLS-300C. It is set up to monitor the tanks brine solution for leak detection like the old system, and also does performing CSLD (0-2gph) in tank leak detection test daily, which meets the DEP requirements. |

I am interested in any information you may have concerning fuel and fluid management systems. Does anyone currently have one of these systems? What do you like and/or dislike about yours? I am looking for one that does tank monitoring and tracks mileage, fuel and fluids.Thanks. |
