For those properties that have the Optima Opus. Please check to make sure your passenger side window stainless steel keepers are properly secured at the bottom of the window opening. RVT's were secured with 1/8" aluminum rivets & of course over a period of time the rivet head corroded off then the keeper shifts away from the latch/catch assembly. RVT replaced the rivets in the keepers with 5/32" stainless steel buttonhead rivets with a stainless steel mandrel. Also check all the black nylon latch/catch assemblies on the bottom of the window assembly to make sure they are not broken or worn. RVT has replaced the latch/catch assemblies that we found broken or worn. Check all the NON-EMERGENCY EXIT WINDOWS there should be between 20-26 stainless steel screws, depending upon the window size, going into the window itself from the interior. Ours had 8- #8X5/8" metal screws going into the aluminum window frame & the threads corroded causing the windows to work loose or possibly fall out. RVT installed 20-26- #8X3/4" tamper proof torx head stainless steel screws. I would check your windows ASAP. We have checked our RT-52's also & those have the correct number of screws installed in the window & all seem to be secure. Just a reminder DON'T SCREW ANY EMERGENCY EXIT WINDOWS SHUT.
If you have any questions give me a call.
Denny
