Terry, Ryder Truck Rental had a division called ATE or Tranist Contractors, I'm not sure if they still have them or not. When I worked for Ryder in CA we took care of YOLO Counties bus fleet. There is also LaidLaw and I believe a company called First Transit,I think they do everything from drivers to mechanic's. You may be able to get some contact info on the Web. |

Terry, Penske actually came here to discuss their program. It's more than just subcontarcting your maintenance. You sign a contarct with them and they basically do all the maintenance. Your mecahnics become Penske employees. You still coordinate the maintenance, but they basiaclly handle any issues with parts and employees. |

Hey Guys, it is my understanding that you can sub companies like Penske etc. and they will bring mechanics into your shop. I know most of you guys have your own mechanics as do I but I was just curious if any of you know this to be so and if it is if anyone might have a company name and phone number. I'm looking into something here at COLT. Thanks Terry |

Terry, New Castle Transit is not under contract. Our prime supplier, Reed Oil, has been transitioning to ULSD since July; we have been less than 500ppm sulfur since then. We will be at 15ppm by Oct. 15th. David |

Terry, CAT is not under contract, but we are being told the same thing from our suppiers- Phoenix Petroleum, Farm and Home; they all get thier fuel from the same PPC fuel bib. On the dilivery tickets it will verify what was delivered. Our deliverys since mid September have been ULSD. If I am not mistaken, that is all we will be able to get. Mark |

Terry, RVT is using Farm & Home as our fuel vendor through the PJEPC. We selected the different fuels we were going to use; LSD,ULSD,etc. We have been receiving ULSD since 9/1/06. Farm & Home told me we probably have been receiving it since the contract began 7/1/06. They claimned they had to start to get it into their tanks @ the various terminals. RVT went with the OPUS flucating market price so we have to call every Tuesday when the price is posted to find out what the cost is. Check out the website that Dennis talked about cleandiesel.org Denny |

Thank you all for your contributions in the development of the streamlined small transit vehicle procurement process with BPT and DGS. Attached are comments submitted by PPTA to the Bureau. Thanks to Gary Williams, Carl Souder and Craig Nagle for assistance in writing the comments--which are attached for your information. |

Terry, RRTA is under contract with Edris Oil for LSD, ULSD, and BIO. As of Aug 1st we have been receiving ULSD. From what I have been told by other retailers, only certain customers will be able to buy LSD, such as off highway businesses. We are paying the same price for the ULSD as we were the LSD. We pay a half cent less for BIO. I'm not sure what you can do since most fuel racks have converted to ULSD. Hope that helps, Steve |

Hey guys how is everyone doing? Got a question for those of you who are on contract for receiving fuel from a specific supplier. We and Rabbitt are currently on contract with Willow Creek Fuels. They bid low sulpher and ultra low sulpher on the contract. They were delivering low sulpher until about a month ago and without any notice starting dumping ultra low sulpher at the higher price. They are telling us that they are no longer able to supply agencies such as ours with low sulpher and that it is only available to a certain amount of retailers. Is anyone else finding themselves in this boat. Anyone on contract for low sulpher having a problem getting it??? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks Terry |

Does anyone out there have a copy of an RFP for a building or facility security system? We are looking into a security system for our facilities that includes cameras, ID/swipe cards and other features to make us more secure. If anyone has done anything like this in the past, I would greatly appreciate it if I could get a look at an RFP. |
