Dennis, New Castle's Gilligs have the RCA rubber flooring. We haven't had any problems with them. |

Dennis, All of our 2005 & 2006 Gillig Low-floors have RCA rubber flooring. However, we have two 1999 Dupont trollies that have ALTRO flooring. On those vehicles the flooring has split at the seams in the stepwells. This flooring has not held up well in these seldom used vehicles. |

Dennis, We have not had any problems with the Altro-Trans floor as of yet. I'll let you know if we start to see a problem. Steve |

On our 2005 gillig's, we had the Altro-Trans floor material installed. I'm finding now that the floor is starting to peel up on the steps, particularly the edge of top step where the wheel chair mat is installed on all 6 of the Gillig's I received in April. The caulk that seals the seams along the walls and wheel wells is also peeling away everywhere in the bus. Did anyone else get this type of flooring and are you seeing the same thing? |
