SEPTA is reviewing several online training programs. I would like to get feedback from all PPTA members whether or not you can access these programs using the computers at your location. We wanted to extend an invitation to the PPTA group to attend our annual SEPTA Roadeo event. The Maintenance Roadeo is scheduled for Wednesday, June 22nd from app. 8:00 AM to 2:00 PMish. The event will be held at the STATS (Septa Training And Technical Support) center, 200 West Wyoming Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19140. 215-580-4277. Teams representing our local garages will compete in six areas of technical venues, Vehicle Inspection, DDA Powertrain, Cummins Powertrain, HVAC, Air Brake Board and a written test. Who knows ..maybe next year we can enter some of the smaller properties to compete with our guys???!!! Hope you can make it! Thanks Mark C. |
