Would everyone that has some form, information or handout on this subject (Facility and equipment maint. schedule ) bring it with them on Weds, to the maint meeting. We all could share from this! If you have anything and will not be at the meeting try and get it to your contact person or someone that will be there. Thanks. Gary

Charlie
I'd be interested in that form if you want to get me a copy. Probably would save me a lot of leg work. Thanks Terry

Carl,
I have an excellant facilities inspection form that I put together a couple of years back. I believe you could change the name and place to "protect the innocent" and make it work for your facility. No sence reinventing the wheel as they say! Along with this form you should have policy in-place how often and who should do these inspections. If anyone else is interested in this inspection for drop me a line and I will get it out to you. Thanks, Chas

Carl I added all my inhouse equipment:air compressors,portable/stationary lifts, parts and bus wash machines, etc. to my scheduled PM from my maintenance program, so they are set up to be serviced/inspected at a particular time or interval. Also, if you do any grassmowing, snow removal, anything on that order you should try to have who, what, when all written down, hard copy or cd. Hope this helps everyone. GREAT RESPONSE from everyone! Keep up the Q's and A's !!!

Carl I just found out about this myself about two months ago. I've got nothing to give you at this point. I am working on a maintenance schedule now but it's going to take a while to finish.

Carl, I just use a monthly checklist that is basic but shows we do the inspections. I am attaching a copy. I have it as an Excel spreadsheet.

I understand the the FTA requires Facilities maintenance records be kept for building and equipment like the records we keep for our vehicles. Can anyone give me samples of what they are doing at your Authority? I was not aware we had to do this. I would appreciate all help...Thanks
