We do not have anyone on call at this time. We will call a mechanic back in after their shift and they are paid a minimum two and a half hours overtime or four hours straight time.

Terry, We also go by seniority and a three hour minimum at time and a half. If the call in takes less than three hours they can leave and get the full three hrs. Bob.

Terry, I do not have any mechanics on call. However if we need a mechanic on a Sunday, we call by seniority and whoever works is paid a minimum of two hours at the overtime rate.
Hope that helps,
Steve

Terry,
WBT has cell phones for all employees. The mechanics carry cell phones if they are on call. We pay them for half the time they are on call or NO MORE THAN TWO HOURS STRAIGHT TIME. They are paid their regular hourly rate.

Do any of you guys ever have mechanics working in an ON CALL status??? If so can you let me know if they are on call with a pager/radio, if they are at your facility and are they paid for the entire time they are on call or just the time they respond to a call??? Are they paid full rate in an ON CALL STATUS and do they get OT for ON CALL status???? Info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
