We replace our own windshields as well. As Steve mentioned, for liability issues, glass companies won't do them. |

Terry, we replace our own windshields. It is very hard to find a glass company who wants to assume the liability if they crack it putting it in. The one body shop we used to use had SafeLite install the windshields for them. You could check with a body shop that does your work to see who they would use. We bought the installation contraption from Gillig that has suction cups on it. You can attach it to a hoist or forklift and you control it with a wired remote controller. It works very well. |

Looking for vendors to replace windshield in my buses. No one locally (Lebanon area) will touch them. Looking in the Harrisburg Lancaster Lebanon area. Will go to York or Reading if need to. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks |
