Steve, Sorry for the late answer but, Joe was out sick and he had the answers. He replaced the "READ HEAD", or R&R LOGIC BOARD on trim unit of the vehicle that was acting up. Also check the voltage of the battery on the trim logic board. It is to be 3.5volts. These are the fixes as these issues arrived with the Odyssey. |

This happened to me a few times, but with a Centsabill I have the option to clear the memory of the GFI system board and reload with a fresh install and download from the GFI server. This process worked for me on a Centsabill, but I’m not familiar with the operation of an Odyssey. Hope this helps. I wish we could go to manual boxes |

Get rid of GFI altogether, problem goes away. Other than that we don't have Odyssey and after next week I will be ordering manual Diamond cash boxes for 9 GMC's and be done with GFI!! I will have a lot of CENTSaBILL boxes, parts, testing bench to give to whomever needs them. Please let me know you are interested in them. |

Has anyone using Odyssey fareboxes ever encountered this problem: The farebox will not validate a new 10 Ride or 31 Day pass. If it has been used once it will validate it, but not the first time. We take the TRIM out and put it in the test stand and it validates the ticket. So I can rule out the TRIM as being bad. What else could cause this to happen? Any help would be appreciated. |
