Thanks Mark. Same thing goes on here. We just started a contract with Firestone though, Goodyear was much easier to deal with.

My experience with tire damage is horrific with Firestone. Even tires with slight uneven wear are written up and billed accordingly. Their field rep will sock it to you every opportunity he gets. I am always disputing charges and his opinion concerning this. We are done with Firestone on 10-31-14 and as far as I am concerned, none too soon. Goodyear is much more reasonable when it comes to tire damage and wear.

Denny,

LANta leases Firestone Tires.Our bid has in it that we don't pay for damaged tires. We have begun our 4th year of the 5 year deal and our current rate is .006682 per mile.

We have a Goodyear contract at this time and had for over 10 years.

How many properties are using Firestone tires? If you are what is your experience with tire damage charges?
