DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE The Berks Area Reading Transportation Authority (BARTA), Reading, PA, is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Maintenance. This position will work closely with other staff members to manage a fleet of 55 heavy-duty diesel powered vehicles, 35 medium-duty diesel powered vehicles, and facility maintenance needs. Qualifications: Training and experience in diesel mechanics, and five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in maintenance supervision. Strong mechanical, electronics, organization and supervisory skills required. Computer experience required for maintaining vehicle records, inventory, fleet performance, and scheduling of work.
