We had a dealer not honor a warranty on the 6.0 diesel because we were doing the PM's at 6,000 miles. If you look at the owners manual, for severe duty it says 5,000 miles. So we do all PM's on the gas and diesels at a 5,000 mile interval. With the 6.0 the owners manual states every 200 hours of operation for those that do a lot of idling. They tried to get us on that also, but couldn't because there was no hour meter in the vehicle. | ||

Tyler, We have all gassers, change the engine oil at 5,000 miles. Mark | ||

I am working on overhauling all of our PM Schedules and I was wondering at what mileage does everyone do the oil changes and Gas vs. Diesel. Ford says 7,500 but that seem a little high to me. Thank you |
