We run a Goodyear RHD2 for drive tires on all of our MCI coaches and Gillig low floors it's a bit over kill in the summer but it's the best when traction is needed. I don't know what all sizes you run all of ours are 315/80 R22.5

John,
Welcome-CAT does the same thing that Steve does at RRTA. We lease our tires from Goodyear.

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum.
RRTA runs straight tread tires all year round. We don't get the amounts of snow that other parts of the state do. I'm not sure if a mud / snow tread would make any difference. Plus I don't have the hassle of dealing with different types of tread patterns. I have enough work with all the different size tires.
Do you own or lease tires?
Steve

Just curious on what everyone runs on their fixed route buses in the winter time. Snow tires or all-season Mud & Snow. Outcomes on each and what you found to work best. Thank you!!
