Joe, where is the after treatment module you are talking about with ten pins. Are you referring to one of the connectors on the ECM?

Steve the 2377 code is the after treatment fuel drain valve. We replaced that but the code kept coming back. Cummins emailed me some other steps to take with things to check. After we checked all those and they checked okay we took it up to them. They replaced the ECM. After they replaced the ECM we get no more codes but still check engine light. Cummins says it is on the OEM side not the engine. They said possibly a ground fault somewhere. Called Gillig and they said to start with the 1939 com side. Computor shows no faults on the 1939 com side either. Just don't know except that we still have check engine light. I did not check with Dave at all. Thought we would call Ben Braun from Gillig tomorrow.

Terry,
What is the 2377 code? If you have a check engine light then there must still be a code. Is it the 2377 code?
Did you contact Dave Herman about this?

Steve

We have a bus 2007 that had a 2377 code in it. We replaced the after treatment fuel drain valve and it still threw the code. Took it to Cummins and they put a new ECM in the bus. When finished they called and said that the engine problem was fixed but we still have a check engine light on. Cummins says its on the OEM side. Called Gillig and check all the 1939 cable components and still have a check engine light. Anyone else run in to this problem and any ideas for a way to clear the check engine light???????

Let me guess you didn't get a deer in season so you had to send the bus driver out to get one for you.
