Mark,

We bid out every six months-- I'm in the middle of a bid right now. We bid our contract as a Rack price plus. Usually we lock in around rack price plus $.02/gal. It makes it a little easier for the bidders because it doesn’t lock them in to a fixed price and it's nice for us if the rack price goes down...obviously there's the flip side-- if rack goes up, we can get in to some pretty expensive fuel. But, my last shipment of diesel was $3.06 / gal on March 22 and gas was $2.87 on April 10.

LANta is currently under contract with Mansfield Oil Co. we are paying $2.80/gallon. The contract ends 5-31-13. We had a provision in the bid that we can extend the contract for an additional year if both parties can agree on simular pricing. With the market dropping right now, we are working on an extention, hoping for the same price.

Mark,
We just signed a one year diesel fuel contract for $3.11 a gallon. It is with Papco which used to be Isobunkers.

Has anyone been out to bid recently for diesel fuel and/or gasoline and if so what were the prices? (Hope to see everyone in Lancaster)
Thanks-Mark
