Dan, I use an outside company to clean all of our facilities. I am very pleased with the work they do. I have direct access to the owner if there is a problem and it is resolved right away. The only cleaning they perform in the shop are the bathrooms. The cost to clean just our admin offices and shop is $1750. I created the scope of work that they are to perform. The owner does routine inspections and we review the work together on a quarterly basis. |

Dan we currently contract with an outside service to clean our Admin area and shop bathrooms($1,000 per month). And it is a constant battle with them to keep up with things. Things as simple as filling the paper towel dispensers. Personally I am in favor of hiring a person for such duties, I believe that the quality control would be much better. |

Partners, We are trying to weigh the advantages of internal employee or outside service company to perform our facility cleaning. This is for the administration section of our facility and the maintenance section. We would like to treat them separately if it is the best solution. We are looking for your opinions and what practices you are using at your facility. The cleaning people that you have now, are they internal employees,or are they a contracted outside service? What is the monthly compensation for this cleaning service if they are an outside service? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated, Dan |
