Hello all, I'm looking for a bit of guidance on the Buy America paperwork. We are having an FTA Triennial review next week and my responses to the questions regarding Buy America are "inadequate" (as per the FTA auditors). The Question was; what process was used to verify domestic content, final assembly activities, and location of final assembly at the pre-award and post-delivery stages? My answer was; the manufacturer supplied documentation. They responded with; the manufacturer certification alone is not sufficient verification. I'm extremely confused as to how they would expect me to verify where the materials that are used to construct our buses come from. Thanks |
