Gary,
Talking to my electricians, we have not seen this type of failure on any of our Gillig Phantoms or Low Floors. Maybe there is something wrong with the fuse block like a hair line crack or something. You may need to remove the block to properly inspect it.

Anyone having an issue with 150 amp fuses on their phantom buses. We have had 2 "break/crack" inside the plastic window, not blow like a normal fuse. The crack is 1/4" back on the straight end side of the fuse. Still connected in middle? We also found that there are not to be any washers between the buss bar and the fuses, but they came from the factory that way and when we did a 36,000 inspection we put them back on the same way they are taken off.
