All:

We are receiving our Hybrid intro training from Gillig on September 19, 20, 21. I have one (1) available spot left if any properties are interested in sending a tech to our shop for this intro. Here's what will be covered:

First Day:

All Classroom presentation and Discussion.
Use Power Point and short Videos. "Hand-Outs" for each tech to follow along with.

Second Day:

Morning is spent in the classroom with an open discussion test as well as a presentation on
Allison DOC for Electric Drive. After lunch on the second day, try to get a couple of volunteers to go on the roof of the bus and do the "High Voltage Disconnect Verification Procedure". Allison requires that this be done before working on the Hybrid Drive, Inverter (DPIM) ESS, or of any of the "Orange Cables". Class "o" 1,000 Volt Gloves are required to do this. A 1,000 Rated Digital Volt meter is required. No one will be working with high Voltage. They will just be verifying that there is no high voltage present before working on any of the above Components.

Third Day:

"Walk Around" the bus, underneath if possible, and all of the interior/exterior compartments to point out all of the various bus system components. Hook-up Allison DOC for Electric drive with a PC to the bus and cover everything that couldn't be done in the classroom. After lunch: induce several simple problems into the bus and have the techs work them off with the PC and Universal Break-Out Box if available.

If you are interested in sending someone, please let me know as soon as possible. If you have any other questions, give me a ring @ 814-535-5526 ext. 222.
