FYI OPUS owners.RVT had an electrical fire in one of our 2001 OPUS 29. The fire investigator hired by our insurance company (same person as RRTA used)was on our property 7/20/11. He determined the point of orgin was electrical wiring behind the steering shaft. We would recommend all OPUS owners check the wiring that runs from the battery equalizer to a routing hole in the frame rail half way back between the battery equalizer and the routing hole. Additional wiring is OUTSIDE of a clamp and it appears that was the location of orgin. If you have questions please give me call. We can also discuss in more detail at the Summer Meeting.
