Charlie,As you may know I already had given Jack Clark some information on the changes I have seen, for instance the reduction of batteries being replaced, better troubleshooting of our electrical problems with a small decrease in down time, which I think will get better with time and experience. Also, we have more people to troubleshoot/analyze HVAC problems,(everyone has had HVAC training) just have to wait until we have a problem to check out! As we said before, we need equipment usage training- how to properly use meters, readers (ProLink and laptops) as it pertains to our needs/equipment. |

Charlie, RRTA has sent mechanics for advanced electrical, advanced a/c, and a/c certification. Those mechanics as well as the authority have greatly benefitted from the training. I would like to see a basic electrical class also. Electronic engine and trans diagnostics is much needed, however that may need to be supplied by the engine or trans manufacturers. Also we would be willing to host training at our facility. Sorry for not responding earlier, I was on vacation and trying to dig out from under the pile of paperwork. Thanks, Steve |

Charlie, WBT's employees have attended eight training classes since there inception. All our employees have returned with a better understanding of the material. This also decreases the downtime of our vehicles. They also serve to boost morale & confidence which relates to better job performance. WBT hosted training in the past & would be more than willing to host it again if our facility is available. Denny |

As you know, CamTran has responded to your query about training. Additionally, I am willing to offer our facility for a Basic Electrical training class whenever it becomes available. Doug Greenwood |

Directors, Responce to my question regarding the positive impact of the statewide training on your various properties was "weak" at best! Only a couple of people responded. I'm sure everyone has seen some improvements and have benefited from their mechanics attendance to these corses. No story is not important. I have to forward this information to the folks in Washington for processing. This data is what keeps this program alive and training dollars available for our mechanics. Please give it some thought and get back with me. Also is anyone interested in hosting a training class at your facility? If you are having trouble sending mechanics out, this is a good alternative to get training for your people. Let me know. Thanks, Chas |
