Dan,

We have a set of Stertile-Koni jack stands at COLT. They have the turn screw at the top, two wheels for positioning them and a 12 ton capacity. The model number is SKMH5480-12; contact info- Stertile-Koni.com phone 800-336-6637

Dan,
We're using the SEFAC Model # TBE 530S tripod jack stands. They are an (18) ton capacity stand with pin and turn screw adjustments. These stands can be adjusted from 53 inches up to 80 inches and have two wheels for portability. They are a little expensive ($1,160 ea.) but my mechanics love them and feel safe using them. www.sefac.com or 1-800-826-3486

Dan,
We're using Mohawk brand jacks. They've been great for us. They are 20ton capacity. They are also available off of the COSTARS contract. I can e-mail ou my contact information if you're interested.

What brand of jack stands are being used to support the bus when it is up on the lift? I have one set of 10ton made by Dura Corp. They do not seem to be available any more. I would like to find the stands that have the turn screw on the top to adjust the height rather than the pin type. Any suggestions?
