Gary, BARTA has 9 Gillig Hybrids, 5-2009 and 4-2010. The Hybrid side is the Allison EV-40 with the ISB02 Cummins. The downside is they are 3 inches too high and will not fit in our parking garage at night. We have not had any issues with them starting or performing other than (1) 2009 when it was new. Our 08 and 09 40ft diesels avg MPG 4.0. 09 40ft Hybrid avg MPG is 4.5 and 2010 40ft Hybrids avg MPG is 5.2.
2009 Hybrids have avg miles of 58,635 and 2010 Hybrids avg miles are 17,281. Let me know if you need any other information.
Regards, Dan
